Did you know that being familiar with approximately 1400 Latin words enables you to read almost any Latin text without extensive use of the dictionary? These 1400 words can be considered the basic Latin vocabulary.
Here on one laminated page, front and back, are the 1422 words that are very handy to know. Take it anywhere and use it to plan your way to a more robust, and useful, Latin vocabulary.
Here's how it works:
Assign your Latin student to use the Fab 1400 Vocabulary List for writing out and then translating.
If assigned to do this with four words per day, Monday - Thursday, and reviewing the week’s 16 words each Friday, your student will know all 1400 words in five semesters.
That's quite an accomplishment! And a very useful one for Latin translation.
